Kendra Bray is the owner and founder of Better Brows & Beauty and is a pioneer in the “No Makeup, Makeup” industry. Having spent more than 10 years as a model and executive in the NYC fashion and beauty industry, She was in a unique position to identify trends and new beauty solutions. Recognizing the “No Makeup, Makeup” movement, and how it matched her personal aesthetic, she has strived to make these services accessible to everyone. Her personal experience in seeking solutions to her own beauty needs left her with many unanswered questions: What is the best treatment? What are all of the options? What are the long term effects? She wanted to be certain her clients were not left with the same questions. Kendra set out with the goal of fully communicating and discussing the expectations, questions and concerns of her clients. By walking them through the entire process- from pre booking and consultation, thru post procedure follow ups- she is able to put her clients at ease when creating a treatment plan. This quest to give the best customer service and ensure everyone receives the desired look and outcome is what sets Better Brows and Beauty apart!
Kendra is CPCP Certified, holds a NYS tattoo license and is fully insured. She has been featured in many publications like Allure, Brides, Essence, the Today Show, and many more. Kendra also holds a BS in Business Management from Penn State University.

I had the best experience throughout my micro blading process with Kendra. She was educational, while also offering her expert opinion as guidance, which always turned out beautifully, when I was indecisive. I’m incredibly happy with my brows, and feel insanely confident now. I also just really enjoyed hanging out with Kendra during the process, and I think that being social and a good conversationalist is an under-recognized but important part of the industry. I had a wonderful experience with Kendra at Better Brows & Beauty! I've always had sparse eyebrows, but was so nervous about having anything permanent done to my face. Kendra totally set my mind at ease during my first appointment. She is so precise, knowledgeable, and focused on making sure everything is as natural and subtle as possible. I loved my eyebrows so much that I ended up getting eyeliner done as well, which I would never have considered before, and I love them both. If you're on the fence, go for it! This is the best decision I’ve ever made for my self and my confidence, my eyebrows are on point all the time and every time I pass a mirror I’m like yep still perfect. It takes a load off your brain! Also with my liner I feel like I look more awake in the morning. I look in the mirror and my brain is like oh you are already awake lets do this. Its really just crazy how much difference little things can do. Absolutely worth every penny. 10/10 would do again (and will).
"Kendra at Better Brows NYC is amazing! My eyebrows are okay, but I wanted micro blading to give me a fuller brow look without make up, every day. Not only do my brows now look AMAZING, I really feel like like my whole face looks better! Kendra helped give my brows more arch and also helped my brows look more symmetrical. The building/room is clean and comfortable. The process was painless (and I have a very low pain threshold so I think it’s saying a lot). The process was 3 in person appointments (1 consult, 1st appointment with micro blading, 2second micro blading appointment for touch ups) all including in the price for micro blading. Kendra gave clear aftercare instructions. I am so happy I did my brows here and I will be coming back whenever I need touch ups for years to come.. I’m never going back to my old eyebrows!"
